Cyber Security
If you take the time to read below, you will comprehend why so many voters will be voting to oust all incumbents in the next four years. The information below will shock you!
Three questions regarding redundant cyber protection, internet content suppression, and U.S. budget under-sight!
(1) How many U.S. Federal cyber security agencies, do you think you’re paying for? 18 currently!
(2) How many U.S. Federal cyber security agencies do you feel should be adequate?
(3) After reading all the redundant cyber agencies and collective information below, did you come to the conclusion, that the Federal Government is somehow fulfilling a massive Federal jobs initiative?
Please read letter to Congressman DeFazio. And perhaps ask the same questions of your neighbors and legislators.
To Congressman Peter DeFazio (R) Oregon
07/07/2010
Regarding: Why the redundant: ‘‘Protecting Cyberspace
as a National Asset Act of 2010’’. And: “National Infrastructure Protection Plan”, initiatives.
Are any of the current 18 U.S. Federal agencies listed below abdicating “any” of their Cybercrimes responsibilities? If ‘ANY’ are, than why a whole new layer of costly redundant government? In-addition, why is there NO congressional commitie oversite?
Department of Homeland Security. Budget: $850 billion
National Threat Operations Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection.
National Center for Cybersecurity and Communications. Budget: $379 million
United States Cyber Command. Budget: $139 million
Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. Budget: $1 billion
Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Budget: 43.5 billion
NATIONAL SECURITY SYSTEMS
Administrator for Electronic Government
Cyberspace Policy Agency
Center of the National Security Agency;
United States Cyber Command
Joint Task Force Global Network Operations
Cyber Crime Center of the Department of Defense;
National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force
Intelligence Community Incident Response Center;
United States Cyber Command
Joint Task Force-Global Network Operations
Cyber Crime Center of the Department of Defense
National Security Agency.
Networking and Information Technology Research and Development $ 3.9 billion
Congressman and Senator’s, I have spent two days, (20 hours) reading the above initiatives, and culling information from the current 18 security agency original initiatives that allowed these redundant cyber agencies and their respective web site directives, as well, I have also found and listed most of their budgets.
A greater percentage of all these agencies have much the same duties. So why the rush to add yet, another layer(s) of governmental cyber security bureaucracy? Most with billion dollar budgets.
What is the next new Federal job’s bill, disguised as national security, and called ‘Something; Protection Act, going to be? Can you envision this absurdity: Citizens Cyber Protection General Oversite Act? (CCPGO) Director’s duties, but not limited to: To police all 18 Federal cyber or security agencies. Budget limited but not to exceed $340 billion annual 2010, and $1 trillion 2030.
This conglomeration of redundant security agencies and budgets isn’t rocket science to decipher. Why are we Americans reading initiatives, bills, agency responsibilities and budget over/under-sight? I was under the impression the latter is what you politicians were elected to do and duly paid for!
Do you think Americans that are aware and doing their/your homework are not sharing letters as such via e-mail, and other internet community venues?
Is it possible, that the latter is why the DOJ, in public document form, (DOJ Web Site) has stated public use of the internet is the DOJ’s number one enemy? And why the U.S. Internet Czar has publicly stated: One way or another, we will control internet content.
To all congressionalists: More Americans are now forced to evaluate U.S. Federal initiatives and your voting record, and as such, rest assured, will be voting accordingly, as to your willingness to vote with American Voters rather than Corporate America, or government agendas.
Regards:
American citizens
Why are the Progressive Democrats on the far left referred to as snakes? Cause they loose their skin three times annual.
Why are Bankers and Necon Republicans on the far right considered Wolf's? Because they devourer their own young.
