Do you really want the Truth?

After much research and reading many articles on global climate change, I became very frustrated as perhaps many of you have, as to what's really the driving force behind all the climate change, media attention.
Common denominators regarding climte change started appearing in almost every article in print media and coverage by the main stream television news outlets. That is two-fold, first the media and our politicians are telling us our carbon dioxide footprints are directly and/or indirectly related to global warming, which is absolutely false. Secondly, almost all the coverage appears to have a high fear factor we are supposed glean from the coverage. Certainly it's true corporate and consumer carbon foot prints do affect earths atmosphere. However not like our environmentalists and politicians would have the American public believe. There is much evidence to counter what we are being sold as global warming, related to carbon dioxide. Please do your own research, you too may perhaps see a carbon tax on the horizon. below are some questions, links and ideas for you to look at. Enjoy!
Are you concerned about the truth of climate change? Do you trust the global elite, environmentalists, American politicians, and main stream media, to tell us what global warming really means? What do you believe is their real agenda?

Do you believe the American Government used the 9/11 tragedy (FEAR-Factor) to sucker Americans into allowing the Patriot Act passed through the Senate and Congress?
Note below how the media uses just about every facet of our lives (from the State of California wine vineyards to the Alaskan tundra) to convince the global public that carbon dioxide is the main culprit for global warming.

See below...advance technology, energy efficiency and renewable's, are not something we can tax, the latter are not tangibles as stated.
Further more the greedy politicians don't even know what they want to spend the 100 billion tax increase for. They are sure the carbon, trade and cap tax are necessary for the good of man kind. Doe's anyone really believe politicians will really lower tax on consumers after the carbon tax's are initiated.

We recognize, of course, that Congress will inevitably see carbon tax revenues as the funding source for a variety of needs such as: paying for advanced technology, energy efficiency and renewable's to reduce greenhouse gas emissions; providing Americans with decent health care; or, at the other extreme, paying the huge costs of the disastrous war in Iraq. Conservation is an economic power that we've largely avoided using, until
something really starts to hurt.
And, if you want good government, invest the time to decide which candidates
will actually be public servants and not lobbyist pawns. Fuel & auto taxes in
the US are low exactly because of emphasis on following lobbyist &
campaign-contributer requests and de-emphasis on conservation. It's always
been up to the voters, if we wanted to invest the time & effort.
Unfortunately, we haven't and so our 'bank account' of sensible law &
regulations is in poor shape.
Term limits are an excellent example of how voters have been marginalized --
instituting them in Calif a while back has changed our govt. from a bunch of
experienced people, including a few crooks, to a sea of inexperienced folks
who are no match for the lobbyists filling the buildings along the main drag
into Sacramento -- they have no term limits!
Climate change threatens US wineries:

WASHINGTON — Climate warming could spell disaster for much of the multibillion-dollar U.S. wine industry. Areas suitable for growing premium wine grapes could be reduced by 50% — and possibly as much as 81% — by the end of this century, according to a study Monday in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Scientists and environmental experts have become increasingly alarmed in recent years by accumulating gasses such as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere as a result of the burning of fossil fuels.
James A. Kennedy, a professor of food science and technology at Oregon University, said he was shocked by the report on the potential effects on wine grapes.
Researchers Link Wildfires, Climate Change

Scientists worldwide are watching temperatures rise, the land turn dry and vast forests go up in flames. In the Siberian taiga and Canadian Rockies, in southern California and Australia, researchers find growing evidence tying an upsurge in wildfires to climate change, an impact long predicted by global-warming forecasters.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, an authoritative U.N.-sponsored network of scientists, has long predicted that summer drying and droughts would worsen forest fires, which in many regions are primarily set by humans.
Climate-change battle waged in world's courts

LONDON — In Australia, environmentalists use the courts to challenge a proposed mine. California sues car-makers seeking damages for environmental effects of their vehicles. Arctic Inuits file a petition claiming U.S. carbon emissions are violating their human rights by melting polar ice.
Around the world, greens are increasingly taking their battle against global warming to the courts. While obstacles are enormous, plaintiffs are making headway in some cases, and the lawsuits are ratcheting up pressure on politicians to impose mandatory curbs on emissions and forcing companies to change their products or improve their public images. Expected Council Action
On 17 April the Council will hold a ministerial-level open debate on the relationship between energy, security and climate. The meeting, organized at the initiative of the United Kingdom, this month's Council president, will be chaired by UK Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett.
The debate is expected to focus on the security implications of climate change and related issues such as access to energy, water and food. Phenomena such as the risks of increased migration, humanitarian crises or border disputes are also expected to be raised. The debate may also explore ways the Secretariat can keep the Council informed about this issue and the potential role of the Security Council in an integrated United Nations approach to address climate change.
