VESSEL WALKTHROUGH:
Sleeps 18 owners and guests in 9 staterooms. The master stateroom is amidships with head, shower, and king-size bed. There are 8 guest staterooms including 4 guest heads and 4 guest showers. Crew accommodations include 6 berths, 2 heads and 2 showers. The Captain's quarters are separate.
Starting with the modern raised pilothouse, you will find port & starboard watertight doors and a full compliment of electronics & navigation equipment. Aft of the pilothouse is the Captains double cabin with light ash interior, storage under bed, color television/VCR and Captains computer. The Captain's bath is faux marble with a ceramic tile stall shower.
Aft of the Captain's cabin is the owner's stateroom with king-sized bed and entertainment center. The owner's dressing room features faux marble & tile fixtures, a vanity & glass shower/tub enclosure. Forward on the main deck, below is the crew quarters with four bunks and head with separate stall shower, television and VCR.
Proceeding aft is the full stainless steel galley with an equipment list among the best. Aft of the galley is the 16' x 17' main salon, elegantly furnished with leather sofas and chairs. Bar storage and tape library and photo lab with slide projector and lighted slide viewing table. The entertainment center has a Mitsubishi 27' TV; Samsung diamond head plus VCR, Sony dual tape and Sony dual tuner.
Coiba Explorer also has a stackable washer/dryer, ironing board, linen storage located in the crews quarters. Proceeding aft down a centerline hallway with 4 double staterooms on each side. There is one head and stall shower stall for each 2 staterooms with private access for each. Each stateroom is also equipped with their own television/VCR. Exiting the hall to the large aft deck/dive prep center and port and starboard stairs to the 7' x 22' dive platform. From the platform through a centerline watertight door is the dive support room with two Mako dive compressors and controls.
Up from the aft deck to the 23' x 38' boat deck. There is a Tulsa hydraulic motor driven, 3 section 5 ton telescoping rotating crane, and one Nautic RIB diesel jet 1999. Forward upper deck is covered and enclosed. Food prep area includes stainless steel sinks, refrigerators, icemakers, gas stove and prep tables, 2 - six person tables and chairs. Under the aft-enclosed canopy are two picnic tables with 16 teak steamer chairs, refrigerator, icemaker and serving tables. There is also a guest day head on the upper deck.

OTHER FEATURES/EQUIPMENT: Coiba Explorer was built as a 93 utility vessel in 1965 by Houma Ironworks in Louisiana. In 1992 there was a full audio gauge showing no loss. At this time the house and decks were removed, both ends removed and the hull gutted. She was totally refit from the tanks up by Kody Marine in New Orleans. Following the design by Matt Kawasaki, she was extended to 114 with a built in dive platform, reverse ransom and a new bow/entry design. The bottom was double plated in areas specifically to protect from grounding incidents. The deckhouse was designed as a raised pilothouse and the interior was designed for extended dive charters carrying up to 18 guests to the far corners of the world in luxurious comfort and style. The interior woodwork is beautiful light ash with plenty of room to stretch. Lube oil = 161 gallons; Sewage = 3000 gallons; Ballast = 19,000 gallons.
