Coach inspection
This Coach is in Excellent condition!
Coach inspected by Michael Boland--President of RV Shopping Guide: 5/21/2005
Exterior We found no major discrepancies. Exterior is in excellent condition. Judging from the paint condition the coach appeared to have been garaged. We did find a few "minor" exterior road chapping areas, there was one ding in the fiberglass, less than the size of a dime on one bay-door starboard side. Tires were in good condition, no weather checking. Generator started right up and is new. Over-all exterior is in excellent condition. Four to six of the bay door gas shocks need to be replaced. There is minor detail cleaning and paint to do in some of the bays and propane tanks. All window awnings are in good shape. Patio awning main rod should be replaced, canvas in good shape, except one small quater size tear I managed by opening the door into awning canvas. We found no evidence of previous fire or body damage.
Please keep in mind, we tend to nit-pick, however it's our job! ;)
Interior is very clean and well cared for. For a non-slide this coach is very well laid out and useable. All lights were operative except two 12 volt over the bed, owner will address that simple issue. AC and heating units checked out great. Carpet was just cleaned and of high quality, in-addition carpet appeared to be in like new condition. Owner was very concerned about 4 small spots on the carpet, I would not of even noticed them had my attention not been brought to them, therefor we consider carpet spots a non issue. There was evidence of two previous minor water leaks, both from windows: One starboard below bedroom window, and the other also starboard below sofa window. After much time, we concluded both leaks had been addressed.
There were two minor chips in the sink area.
All books and manuals are included. Routine maintenance schedules were met on-or usually before scheduled times. If your into perfection, bells, toys and "All" the whistles...this toy is for you!
Exterior condition: Excellent. A ten is best, exterior is any easy 9.2 plus!
Interior condition: Excellent. A ten is best, interior is any easy 9.5 plus!
Inspectors statement:
This coach is in white-glove mint pristine condition. Interior looked brand new as did the leather pilot and co-pilot seats. You would never guess this is a forty foot coach, as with Country Coach's time honored tradition...this coach's floor plan was well thought-out.
We spent several hours (with the owner) inspecting and photographing this coach. It became very obvious, Ron is very fastidious and detail oriented, when it comes to coach upkeep and maintenance.
One of the things that stood out was the well placed and labeled electronics. Country Coach seems to excel with their ability to simplify and integrate all of the electronics into very user friendly management panels.
Owner was very professional, courteous and congenial, when showing this coach. The extra time He spent showing the fun little nuances, and mechanical condition was certainly appreciated. As discussed with Ron, he will be happy to show you the new owner all operations of this beautiful rig.
